Add games to My Library in Argon - Windows 11
Last Updated 3 months ago

As of this writing - July 2023, Windows 11 does now have a File transfer app that can transfer files between Windows 11 and the Windows Subsystem for Android. Verify that you have installed WSA version 2305.40000.2.0 or higher installed.

Once verified, open the WSA settings and turn on the Share User folder setting. This will allow Windows user folders to be shared with the Android File system and Argon.

Previous workaround suggestion:

This is a workaound to move game files to make them accessible to Argon running on Windows 11. This article assumes you have Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) already installed from the Windows store and have installed Argon from the Amazon appstore.

First download this Windows 11 app (WSA Toolbox) from the Microsoft store:

https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/wsa-toolbox/9PPSP2MKVTGT

To use this app to transfer files to WSA, you will need to turn on Developer mode.

A file transfer app in WSA is also helpful. With your file transfer app, create an Argon folder at top level of the SD card. Do not create the Argon folder inside the Downloads folder.

Once the Argon folder is created, in WSA Toolbox, click on the File Transfer. Open the Argon folder and push any game files that you have to the Argon folder. Click Refresh to verify they have transferred.

If Argon was already open, you may need to close and relaunch it for it to see the files that have been transferred. To setup My Library in Argon, go to Settings > My Library.

Select a watch folder and navigate to the Argon folder that was created above.
